The Essential Key West Accessible Private Tour is a great Key West tour for families as it covers many different interests! It combines a private walking tour, a visit to a top tourist attraction, and a glass boat tour.
This accessible Key West tour begins at the Shipwreck Museum where you will meet your friendly, local guide. The Shipwreck Museum is a true gem in Key West! It take you all the way back to 1851 and lets you discover the treacherous world of shipwrecking and how it made Key West one of the richest cities in the US. The museum combines actors, film and actual artifacts to tell the fascinating stories.
After your visit at the Shipwreck Museum, your private guide will take you on a guided walking tour of the historical district also called the Old Town (including the Hemingway House). There will also be time for some local shopping at Mallory Square and an early lunch at an accessible restaurant if you desire (cost not included).
Once your guided tour of Key West is done, your private guide will drop you off by the Glass Boat dock, where you will be boarding the boat for a 2 hour adventure. You will have a unique chance of exploring the beautiful underwater vistas generally reserved for scuba divers from the glass bottom boat. This includes a wide variety of fish, other sea creatures and North America’s only living coral reef! Please note that the glass boats have a single step at both ends of the boarding ramp.
When you return from your glass boat tour you will make your way back to the cruise dock at your own pace. It is approximately about a 6 minute walk/stroll and we will provide you with directions once your reservation is complete.
