Start your day by meeting your friendly driver and accessible mini-bus by the cruise dock and enjoy a scenic ride to the famous Bacardi Distillery. Upon arrival at the site, you’ll exit the van, pass through the ticket center and enter the waterfront Bat Bar Pavilion. Sit down and enjoy the views and brisk breeze, while you wait for your accessible tram to pick you up.

Once on board the open-air accessible tram, you’ll make your way around the beautifully manicured distillery grounds, before arriving at the main distillery exhibition halls where you’ll meet your tour guide for a 45-minute guided tour. Discover how Bacardi rum is made and learn about the family history of the Bacardi brand. Enjoy old exhibitions as well as interactive learning tools. There will also be time to visit the gift shop for an opportunity to buy some souvenirs or full your own bottle of exclusive rums.

Once the guided tour is done, you’ll once again board the accessible tram and make it back to the waterfront Bat Bar Pavilion. Here, you’ll have time to sit down and enjoy a cocktail (included), before your driver returns to safely escort you back to your cruise ship.

This accessible cruise excursion uses a wheelchair friendly minibus with a lift.

The Bacardi welcome center and bar is accessible with ramps. The terrain is flat throughout. Some mild cobblestones are present. There is also an accessible restroom available.

To navigate between the welcome center and exhibition center you will use the accessible tram. A pull-out ramp is installed and a wide designated row for wheelchairs is available.

The exhibition areas and routes are fully accessible with flat and smooth surfaces and wide doorways.
