This lighthouse, on one of the highest points on the island, was built in 1852 to alert sailors of the shallow reef.  The Lookout Point is named in honor of British Admiral Horatio Nelson who fought for Grand Turk’s liberation from French occupants in March 1783.

As you make your way back towards the cruise dock, you will see the lovely birds at the salt Salinas along Church Folly.
